Meet the newest members of the Chiltern Maritime Team, Sarah Duffin and Vanessa Mole. These ladies bring with them a wealth of experience, having over 35 years worth of experience in the Maritime Industry between them.
Sarah started her career at sea in 2003, working as a Tour/Destination Manager for Swan Hellenic, Saga and Fred Olsen Cruise Lines. Sarah joined the Chiltern Maritime team in July after making the decision not to go back to sea and remain on dry land in the UK. Her role as a Training Officer means she is responsible for Condor, Holland America and Technip cadets. Throughout Sarah’s time of working at sea, she met with many cadets and so already had a good understanding of the cadetship scheme and how it works.
Vanessa has been working in the Maritime Industry for over 20 years. Her maritime career began when working at one of the leading maritime colleges in the UK, initially as a Course Administrator and subsequently moved into Marketing where she gained a CIM Diploma in Marketing. Amongst some other roles, Vanessa has administered crew for maritime companies including cruise ships and dredgers.
Vanessa’s current role at Chiltern Maritime is to monitor and oversee the Trainee’s progress and general welfare whilst they are under training on behalf of their sponsors.
With their Maritime backgrounds, caring nature and dedication to work hard, Sarah and Vanessa have become an asset to the Chiltern Maritime team and great aids to our Cadets.
