We caught up with Chiltern Maritime Cadet, Hattie Doswell, an Electro-Technical Cadet, sponsored by TechnipFMC.
She is working onboard Diving Support Vessel, Deep Arctic where she is studying for her time at sea, after completing her studies at City of Glasgow College.
“Joining Deep Arctic has been a great experience so far, and it’s totally different to any of the ships I’ve been on before, meaning that I am gaining knowledge on new systems and equipment.
“Being onboard during a maintenance period means that I’m able to see parts of the ship you wouldn’t usually get to see and do jobs that can’t be done whilst sailing at sea. Everyone has been so welcoming and keen to help me learn about the ship and its role in the offshore industry.”
